UFC on FOX 14 Results: Bektic Smothers Redmond in Decision Win

The Fox Sports 1 preliminaries kicked off with a great performance from Mirsad Bektic. Paul Redmond simply could not get anything going for him as he was controlled for three consecutive rounds.

Redmond fought off of his back for the majority of the fight and never really had an opportunity to turn the tables on his opponent. Bektic smothered him and gave him no room to work with. The fight saw only a few striking exchanges, but Bektic came out on top of those as well. It was no surprise when Bektic had his hand raised in victory after the judges’ decision was read.
