UFC Sends Out Warning To Fighters –– ‘Say NO To The Unions’
The battle between the UFC and possible unions seem to be growing. The Teamsters and The Culinary Workers Union 226 have come together in an effort to organize MMA fighters into a fighter union.
There has been a lot making its way round the internet about just what the Culinary Workers Union motivations are, seeing as how they have a storied and documented battle with the Fertittas and their casinos and that they’ve done things in the past to keep MMA illegal in New York.
So needless to say, the UFC isn’t going to let the organize this union without a fight.
We’ve seen a letter sent out to fighters before, from the UFC, explaining the past actions of the Culinary Workers Union and warning fighters to be cautious of their intentions.
However it looks like the UFC have sent out another warning to fighters, explaining just why a union would be bad for their career.
The letter was posted online by former UFC fighter Brandon Vera, on his Facebook page.
