UFC’s Return to Ireland Confirmed
Conor McGregor brought the crowd to their feet in Dublin, Ireland at UFC Fight Night 46 when the sold-out crowd watched him dominate Diego Brandao. Ireland will now get another opportunity to show their support for the UFC as executive Dave Allen confirmed a return to Ireland in the near future.
“The date is set, and we’ll announce details on July 1,” Allen said during the UFC Fight Night 69 post fight press conference.
As previously mentioned, UFC Fight Night 46 was the last event to take place in Ireland and it hosted a stacked card which aired on Fox Sports 1. The likes of Conor McGregor, Gunnar Nelson, Ian McCall, Norman Parke and several others brought the crowd to their feet with outstanding performances. The crowd was electric and it could go down as one of the greatest crowds in UFC history.
