UFC’s Tim Kennedy Tweets to Bellator About Reebok Issue
The UFC and Reebok announced the new payout system with details on Wednesday and it caused an uproar within the fighting community. While some fighters are happy, most cannot see how they benefit from this deal taking place.
If there was ever a fighter to rock the boat and say what he wants, it’s UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy. Once Kennedy caught wind of the new deal, he took to Twitter and called out the UFC, Reebok, AND Bellator. Kennedy’s going places.
Dear @ufc
Am I to understand that for my exclusive apparel sponsorship I'll make $2,500?
I'll pass. Thanks for the generous offer.#reebok— Tim Kennedy (@TimKennedyMMA) May 6, 2015
@BellatorMMA Hey! #Reebok

Do you think Tim Kennedy is hinting at going to Bellator? Kennedy hasn’t fought since his bout with Yoel Romero and there is currently nothing lined up for him. Who would you like to see him fight next in UFC OR Bellator?
