UFN 73 Results: Derek Brunson Goes Crazy On Sam Alvey, Puts Him Away Early
Sam Alvey and Derek Brunson faced off in the octagon on the main card of UFC Fight Night 73.
Right away Brunson came out with a big punch that missed. Then he clinched and put Alvey on the cage. From there Brunson looked to land big uppercuts and punches. Brunson lost his mind and stated swinging like a wild man. He landed massive punches to the chin of Alvey. Alves managed to move away from the cage but Brunson ran after him wailing with his arms like a wild man.
He just threw big punch after big punch. Brunson caught him with a big shot that sent him to his knees. Brunson jumped on him and started punching from the top. Alves was covered up but the referee steeping and waved off the fight.
Could possibly be seen as an early stoppage, but he was eating a bunch of big shots.
RESULT: Brunson wins via TKO at 2:19 of round 1
