Friday's Ultimate Fighter Live On FX | Proctor vs. Tickle Preview
By Evan Stoumbelis:
This Friday on the Ultimate Fighter, Chicago native Chris “Bad Boy” Tickle is set to represent Team Cruz against Joe Proctor of Team Faber.
Chris Tickle holds a 7-4 record and has quickly become one of the more recognizable cast members, with his “Bad Boy” attitude and somewhat loudmouth style. Joe Proctor on the other hand is 7-1 and is coming off a submission victory.
Chris Tickle, who up until now has had no professional training, will most likely look to press forward, utilizing his kickboxing skills, but he may look to utilize his wrestling abilities to set up take downs and gain a dominant position to hopefully bring control back to Team Cruz.
Joe Proctor however, is no stranger to ground fighting, the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth graduate is a Jiu-Jitsu specialist, and as he showed in his last fight, feels right at home taking the fight to the ground and setting up submissions. Urijah Faber is hoping to retain momentum with another win from one of his fighters.
Team Faber recently gained control of matchmaking after Al Iaquinta defeated Myles Jury after winning via decision in the tie-breaker round. Team Faber retained control last week after Mike Chiesa beat Jeremy Larsen via decision. Urijah Faber says he is trying new training methods, whats your take Penn Nation? Is Faber trying new training methods unnecessarily?
