Urijah Faber: ‘Bryan Caraway Backed Out Of A Fight With Me’
It seems a lot of fighters really aren’t fans of Miesha Tate’s boyfriend and UFC bantamweight fighter Bryan Caraway.
Now, Team Alpha Male’s Urijah Faber is calling Caraway out for apparently backing out of a fight.
Faber said that there was a fight set up between himself and Caraway and it was scheduled to headline the TUF 22 Finale, but Caraway backed out of the fight. Now, Frankie Edgar vs. Chad Mendes will headline the event and Faber will take on Frankie Saenz at UFC 194.
Faber had this to say about Caraway, who he also states seems to want to fight guys who have been out of the game for a while.
Check it out!
“We did have someone that backed out of the fight, for whatever reason. We were supposed to actually headline, it was supposed to be Caraway and I headlining the TUF Finale and he didn’t take the fight.”
“He brought Eddie Wineland out of retirement who had broken his jaw and decided he was done fighting, and Caraway calls him out. Now he’s calling out Michael McDonald, who we haven’t seen since he vanished like a fart in the wind after our fight. So, you know, if you want to step up, let’s do it. So yeah, he didn’t take the fight.”
