VanZant Eyes Future Title Shot With Joanna
Two of the biggest names in the UFC’s strawweight division, champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Paige VanZant are destined to face off one day, but when that day is, no one knows.
Both fighters are on a tear, VanZant on a three fight win streak and undefeated in the UFC and Joanna looking absolutely dominant in her title defenses.
Fans joke that they don’t want to see VanZant fight Joanna because they’re afraid of what she might do to her face, but VanZant is no slouch, that’s for sure.
In a recent appearance on MMAJunkie Radio VanZant talked about Joanna and said that she’s not in an hurry to get there, but does believe she’ll still be the champion by the time she gets to the top.

“If I look at Joanna, of course I feel a certain way about her, because she has the belt. She has something I want. I understand why I get some of the negative feedback from some of the strawweights because I am where they’d like to be.
“I’m just so blessed right now. I’m not going to take any of these things personally because they don’t know me personally.”
“She’s a great fighter; I think she’s really good. Of course, we’re seeing a lot of other strawweights with a lot of talent. She’s going to have top competition. But I do think that she will be the person who stays with the title until I get there.”
