VanZant vs. Herrig Set For UFC on FOX 15

A strawweight fight between Paige VanZant (pictured) and TUF 20 fighter Felice Herrig is set for UFC on FOX 15.

The bout was announced on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight on FOX Sports 1.

UFC on FOX 15 takes place from the Prudential Center, in Newark New Jersey, on April 18.

Both women are coming off victories in their UFC debuts.For Herrig it came on the The Ultimate Fighter Finale card against fellow castmate Lisa Ellis. Herrig was able to submit Ellis, via armbar.

VanZant was too young to compete on the Ultimate Fighter and instead went straight to the UFC where she earned a TKO victory over Kailin Curran in her first and only UFC contest.

A lightweight bout between Jim Miller and Paul Felder was also announced for the event.
