WATCH! Dana White Owed Money To The Mob, Had To Flee Boston

UFC president Dana White is certainly a polarizing figure of MMA. You like the guy and his brash no holding back style, or you just don’t.

Either way, he’s a big name in the sport and many consider him to be a major reason for why the UFC is so big today. White was recently a guest on the new FS1 show ‘The Herd,’ and told an interesting story about how he came to be in Las Vegas.

White says that earlier on, when he lived in Boston, he was running a boxing gym for kids and apparently the mob, run by Whitey Bulger (who’s life has been made into a movie called Black Mass), approached him one day and told them he owed them money.

White says he never paid but one day they called his house and said he had to pay them by tomorrow. After he put the phone down he called to buy an airplane ticket so he could get out of Boston.
