Recently, Pride FC icon Bob Sapp revealed via a social media post that he would be returning to professional kickboxing in August when he is set to compete in France.

In honor of the kickboxing and MMA heavyweight, check out this throwback footage of Sapp and Boxing icon Butterbean competing in a sumo contest in 2001 under the K-1 banner.

Butterbean of course reigned as a boxing champion for many years, racking up a 77-10 professional record as he won, and then defended his super heavyweight championship numerous times over the course of nineteen year professional career.
