VIDEO | Controversial kick in MMA fight leads to massive in-ring brawl in Serbia
The main event of ‘Megdan Fighting’ in Serbia this year resulted in an extremely unexpected ending as Vaso Bakocevic capitalized on his opponent’s slip and landed a brutal soccer kick that put the previously undefeated Stefan Zviljer to sleep.
As the referee rushed in to stop the fight, Bakocevic landed some clean ground and pound shots before the fight was officially stopped. Once it was however, Zviljer’s team rushed the cage to check on their fighter. Once he regained consciousness they proceeded to celebrate as if he had won the fight.
That didn’t sit too well with Bakocevic, who then punched one of Zviljer’s teammates. As a result, a full on brawl ensued.
