VIDEO | Vitor Belfort dominates in his first & only boxing match
In 2006, fresh off his 1st round KO win over Antony Rea, UFC and Pride FC veteran Vitor Belfort made his highly anticipated boxing debut in Brazil, where he picked up a 1st round KO win over a local amateur boxing champion, Josemario Neves, who was also making his professional boxing debut.
It took Belfort just over 60 seconds to pick up a KO win, after dropping his opponent early on in the fight, before then finishing him moments later.
Belfort would return to the Octagon at Strikeforce: Revenge two months after the pro-boxing win, where he dropped a unanimous decision to the kickboxing veteran.
To date, the fight remains the only professional boxing fight on Belfort’s record.
